| HISTORY |
| Languedoc was created in 1994, under the direction of Marcelo García Morillo as a group of friends in order to dedicate themselves to the study and interpretation of medieval music, period of special meaning in this new millenium that is called on to us to live. It has put in scene numerous works, organized musically around a thematic axis of the time, looking for through simple scenic resources, a greater approach to the medieval spirit. |

| REPERTOIRE |
| It includes the XII XIII and XIV centuries, dedicating special attention to the music of Troubadours and Troveros, Cantigas of Santa Maria, Llibre Vermell, Carmina Burana, Chansonier du Roi, etc… From the last works, includes a section dedicated to the influence of the medieval music in the corresponding traditional song book. |

| CARACTERISTICS |
| The intention is to recreate and to transmit the atmosphere and the spirit of the middle age. Account for it with a wide range of instruments that are faithful historical reconstructions. Each presentation has a thematic axis developed theatrically with texts and narrations that lead to a greater understanding of this musical language. |

| THE PLACE |
Languedoc offers each summer season three weekly functions: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays at 22hs in the audience “El Pitío”, a charming place surrounded by flowery gardens that make the surroundings the ideal one.
Finalized the spectacle the artists invite with a glass of wine accompanied with an exquisite homemade regional cheese tasting, and the delicious alfajores of El Bolsonero after what the evening closes with medieval dances that the public easily learns under the direction of the musicians. |

| LANGUEDOC IN EL BOLSON |
| Declared of Municipal and Cultural interest Languedoc occupies a central place in the cultural life of the city. It is an important artistic datum point whose work has been worth it the reiterated praise of the critic in press, television and radio transforming itself into the unlosable attraction for those who every year visits El Bolson. |
